The Education Staffing Partnership
The Education Staffing Partnership is currently recruiting behaviour and Learning support assistants to work in number of Primary and Secondary schools in Cardiff and the surrounding areas.
Most of the roles will involve 1:1 support as well as small group work and will be supporting young people with social, emotional and Mental Health difficulties. Young learners, who may often lack self-motivation, to gain the life skills and qualifications that allow them to reach their full potential.
The roles include:
- To assist in the support of children with behavioural needs
To assist with resolving the behavioural and emotional needs of children.
To develop a mutually supportive relationship with teaching staff
To be involved in collaborative planning with teaching staff to ensure the effective use of support
To advise the teaching staff on the needs of particular students
A desire to work with young people who present with challenging behaviour is essential.
